VIBE WITH THE VIGNERON

On the 24th September, with our Vitruvian Mill running in the background, we will be hosting the second in our tasting series, Vibe with the Vigneron. Join Sebastian to taste some exquisite wines and older vintages as he shares is passion and philosophy around the wines he creates. These tastings will take place every few months in our barrel cellar. Space will be limited to 20 tasters so don’t hesitate to book!

At the start of Spring and on Heritage Day, we could not think of a better wine for our second tasting series.

Hope Marguerite was an iconic woman, known for her passion for gardening, farming and wine. The wine created in her honour is also a South African icon and has become a benchmark Chenin Blanc with ten 5* vintages since 2008. Each vintage is made to express the unique terroir at Beaumont. Join us to learn more about how this wine is produced and taste your way through six fantastic vintages.

The day will start with a tasting of Chenin Blanc in our 48-year-old Chenin Blanc vineyard, followed by a stroll back to the tasting room. Once back there will be a vertical tasting of six vintages of Hope Marguerite (2016 – 2021) in the Barrel Cellar and a delicious lunch paired with Hope Marguerite & Mourvedre. To finish, with dessert, a special tasting of Demi Sec 2013!
