The Orchards

 

The 10 hectares of pear and apple orchards form a key part to the overall farming business. Packhams Triumph, Abate Fatel and Forelle varietals can be picked fresh from the tree in February and March. While our newly planted CRIPPS apples are the last fruit of the season to come off the trees at the end of April early May. 

 

Almond orchards planted in the 1980’s always give the first indication that spring is on its way with their beautiful flowers blooming at the end of August. Roasted or raw, these make a delicious snack while tasting our wines.

 

Kalamata and Mission olives are grown on the farm and cured using Nici and Jen’s secret recipe.
